Charles has practiced workers’ compensation law since being admitted to the bar in Rhode Island in 1987, giving him more than three decades of focused experience in the field. A native of Warwick, Rhode Island, he earned his undergraduate degree from Providence College, where he graduated cum laude, and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit since 1989.
