Associate Attorney
Domenic, a native Rhode Islander, grew up alongside his two older brothers and one younger brother, all under the supportive guidance of their parents. Throughout his childhood, Domenic focused on academics and athletics, gradually learning the importance of both mental and physical health. Today, Domenic spends his free time exercising, gardening, and learning about a variety of topics through books, documentaries, and podcasts.
Domenic’s interest in law began in high school after taking several social studies courses and learning about law’s impact on society. Despite not knowing which legal path to pursue, Domenic knew becoming a lawyer would provide him with many opportunities to help others.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Domenic attended Roger Williams University, double majoring in legal studies and political science, with a minor in professional writing. Over the course of four years, Domenic consistently improved his legal analysis, communication, and critical thinking skills. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Domenic exhibited a commendable work ethic, balancing academic pursuits with a part-time job at Stop & Shop and interning for a semester at IGT in the Government Relations Department.
After graduating, Domenic continued his education at Roger Williams University School of Law, where he maintained his part-time job as well as completing two summer internships. Domenic interned at Daley Orton, LLC and IGT in the Legal Department. These internships provided him with valuable insights into various legal areas, from personal injury law to corporate compliance. As a third-year law student, Domenic participated in the Business Start-Up Clinic. During this Clinic, Domenic worked directly with nonprofit organizations and small-business owners to assist them with entity formation and intellectual property issues.
PRO-BONO WORK
Domenic’s accumulation of legal skills and knowledge contributed to his desire to engage in pro-bono initiatives. While in law school, Domenic participated in the Rhode Island State House Summer Internship Program. During this program, he collaborated with a policy analyst group focused on drafting and amending existing drug criminalization laws. During his third year of law school, Domenic interned at Save the Bay, a nonprofit organization, where he performed research on shoreline access laws, waterway rights, and water pollution. Through these endeavors, Domenic exercised his skills to address societal issues and foster positive change in his community.
